Pastor Gerry has been Senior Pastor of Orland Park Church since 1988. As the primary teaching pastor, Pastor Gerry presents the message at the Sunday worship services and conducts various educational classes and seminars throughout the year. Casting vision and inspiring excellence, he oversees the growth and development of all the church ministries at Orland Park Church.

Pastor Gerry graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He then went on to receive his Masters of Divinity degree at Calvin Seminary. He has also completed his course work for a Doctorate of Ministry degree at Denver Seminary.

Pastor Gerry has also served churches in Newton, Iowa; Denver, Colorado; and Grand Rapids, Michigan. His leadership is marked by his passion for the lost and his deep desire to enrich the spiritual life of the believer.

Pastor Gerry and his dear wife Carol are blessed with four children and five very spoiled grandchildren.
