BIO-SKETCH: In an effort to capture even more fully what we're all about, we've adopted the name, Ebenezer Church, Rock of Help Ministries. Under that umbrella is ESL, worship, small groups, youth, community care, etc.

THE WORK:
Some recent events: We offer a simultaneous translation to Spanish of the services. We are asking for your prayers for God's blessing on this as we are launching this ministry this coming Sunday. We have no idea what the response will be; we've mailed all the ESL students and have distributed announcements in the immediate community. For now we simply ask for your prayers specifically for our translators, Susanna and Selene, as they commit to this support ministry.

We've done a first this summer in offering ESL (English as a Second Language) classes. With the children home from school we did not expect a great turnout but were curious as to the level of interest. The attendance has averaged 4.
