BIO-SKETCH:   Preschool Director and Pastor’s Wife – Shelley and her husband Guillermo have two children;  Sarah and Mark.  

THE WORK:   Guille and I are now working full time as missionaries.  Guille is the pastor of Iglesia Biblica Cristiana (Bible Christian Church) and spends most of his time preaching,  teaching adult Sunday school and offering classes that specifically focus on the spiritual growth of our church members.  He has started preparing an evangelistical training program where he hopes to train our members to help "Go and preach the gospel" to those in the community.  I spend most of my time supervising and teaching at our preschool "Caminito de Jesús".  This is our third year running the preschool.  It has been amazing to see the growth from year to year -- physically,  spiritually and academically.  Our first year there were 18 students enrolled. Last year, we had 44 students studying at the school.  This year we presently have 64 students enrolled at the school.  We offer classes Monday-Thursday to children from 2-5 years old.  The majority of the students come from homes that are not Christian so we have a wonderful opportunity to share with them the love of God.  The students come from lower class families.  They are asked to pay 200 pesos a month which converts to about $6.00 Believe it or not some of the families can't even pay that.  We are excited to be a part of this ministry because we know we are helping them receive a good,  Christian education that hopefully will change the rest of their lives.

Sarah and Mark are growing up fast.  Sarah is 5 years old.  Mark is 4 years old.  They both attend our preschool.  They are fluent in Spanish and are starting to learn English as well.  They bring such joy to our lives and have been a true blessing.
