BIO-SKETCH:  I am Prasha Maharjan hailing from the foothills of the Himalayas in Nepal. I went to a secular college in Oklahoma for two years. That is where I came to know Jesus Christ and had been praying for a lot for direction. I wanted to go to a Bible college, so I left my education there and went back home to Nepal. I started going to a church in Kathmandu, and the pastor there, Arbin Pokharel, who is a Kuyper College graduate, told me about Kuyper. Through all that, God had been orchestrating ways for me to know Him, go back to Nepal, meet this pastor and finally attend Kuyper. It has been awesome to see God's hand moving in my life.

I have always been involved in sports. Swimming is my passion. I am part of the intramurals committee here and get to organize and participate in intramurals.

THE WORK:  I am an Interdisciplinary major here at Kuyper. This major allows me to take several Bible classes and courses from the Psychology department, which will be a good foundation for me to get a Masters in Biblical Counseling. I want to be able to teach at a seminary in Nepal and provide biblical counseling especially among women there.

Kuyper, indeed has been a blessing. I love the smaller and closer community here.
