BIO-SKETCH: Dave & Erin Foster were married in July of 2004 and currently live in Chicago where they serve students attending the art schools in downtown Chicago. Erin (Riley), grew up in OPCRC and met Dave at Hope College in Holland, Michigan where she studied Communications and Spanish and Dave studied Business Management and Spanish.

Dave grew up at the regional InterVarsity camp in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and later planted the InterVarsity chapter at Hope College as a student to help train bible study leaders and challenge students to deepen their personal relationship with Jesus. This played an influential role in the spiritual formation of his own life and he joined InterVarsity staff shortly after graduation in May 2004.

THE WORK: Dave is focusing on planting a new InterVarsity chapter at the School of the Art Institute during the 2007-2008 school year while Erin is committing full-time to building the chapter at Columbia College. They will be training leaders in Bible study skills, evangelism and prayer in mission together to advance the gospel on campus. Both share a long-term vision to reach the remaining six art schools in the area creating "incarnation" an inter-art school network of Christian students in the arts.
