BIO-SKETCH: Church Planter – Nick and his wife Linda have 3 sons;  Nick Allen (Kristina),  Michael and John.  They have 2 grandchildren:  Tatumn and Nicholas.

About 6 years ago Nick attended a Home Missions program called Gathering Church Network and then took classes geared to outreach.  After about a year,  Nick felt God calling him to be more active in evangelism.  Nick worked a half-time position in outreach and evangelism at Park Lane CRC in Evergreen Park.   In March 2001,  he was examined by Chicago South Classis and ordained as an evangelist.

THE WORK: Bridge Community Church is focusing their ministry to a target age of 25-45 married with children,  middle to upper-middle income people who are not regularly attending a church.   They use every appropriate means to move people toward a deeper, more committed relationship with Jesus Christ.  Building spiritually healthy individuals and strong families on the foundation of Jesus Christ. Bridge Church is seeker sensitive in everything they do.  They bring contemporary music, drama and family-focused preaching and teaching to their worship. Children’s ministry is thematic,   creative and geared to coincide with the preached lesson one each month to aide in family discussions and learning.
