BIO-SKETCH:   Bible League Director for the Middle East / Director of Church Planter Training—–Alex originally came from New Zealand,  and Renona from Minnesota.  Alex felt a strong call to overseas missions when he was a teenager.  He spent 4 years in Australia as an itinerant evangelist and youth worker.   Renona is a nurse and midwife and spent some of her earlier years with the Frontier Nursing Service in Kentucky.   Alex and Renona moved to Ukraine in 1995 and began church planting there.  In 1996 they were called to the Bible League.   Alex and Renona have two grown children,  Rod and Janelle,  and one grandchild,  Kaylee.

THE WORK:   As director of church planter training Alex visits various countries in the world where he helps train national Christians in methods of beginning new congregations.
